CLUB NOTES KD5SSJ None received MVRC FIELD DAY RESULTS AD5LJ We had a very good field day this year. I would like to thank everyone involved for making this event successful. Saturday’s events started early when 10 people showed up to erect the 6-Meter beam antenna. We also set up the club generator and ran power cords to the radio positions. This work was completed at about 1100 and everyone except Rick (W3GWU) and me departed. The two of us operated the club station until about 1600 when other operators started arriving. Cash (KD5SSJ) prepared dinner for us and we had a total of 17 people eat. We were able to operate the club station for the full 24 hours using a combination of generator and battery power. We operated CW, SSB and PSK modes. We had two stations on the air for about six hours and three stations in operation for about 2 hours on Sunday morning.
